    Valley Christian's Emersyn DeGroot and Elijah Fisher

    MISSOULA – We're again for day two of the KPAX Sports activities Awards nominations reveal and right now we're going to satisfy the finalists from Valley Christian Excessive Faculty, and the feminine nominee is Emersyn DeGroot and the male nominee is Elijah Fisher.

    DeGroot was a three-sport athlete for the Eagles in volleyball, basketball and tennis.

    She was workforce captain in volleyball and basketball final fall and winter and was an educational all-state choice in all three of her sports activities.

    Within the classroom, DeGroot is a 4.0 pupil and has achieved the best honors at school yearly and has been class president for the previous two years in addition to a member of the nationwide honor society.

    DeGroot will keep proper right here on the town for her subsequent transfer as she will probably be attending the College of Montana the place she plans to check enterprise.

    “They meant rather a lot to me,” DeGroot stated. “I've performed sports activities just about each season I can. I adore it.     Fisher was a standout in soccer and basketball for Valley Christian.

    He was a workforce captain in each sports activities the previous two seasons and was an all-state choice in soccer as a senior, main the Eagles to the 8-man playoffs.

    With a 3.5 GPA, Fisher is Tutorial All-State annually and can be a frontrunner within the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

    He will even stay at school in Missoula as he’ll attend UM and examine pre-engineering with hopes of constructing the Grizzly soccer workforce.

    “All of the sports activities at Valley Christian meant the world to me,” Fisher stated. “Not solely have they helped me bodily and thru coaching and endurance, they've truly helped me mentally. If you undergo highschool, you undergo loads of psychological stuff, you undergo insecurities and issues like that, however Sports activities offers you a basis and a basis for the belongings you undergo.”

    These are the representatives from Valley Christian and on Friday we’ll introduce you to the candidates from Large Sky Excessive Faculty.
