    Suburban Chicago church sues village, mayor for discrimination

    A small suburban Chicago church appeared in federal court docket on Tuesday to hunt both a declaratory judgment or different injunctive reduction in opposition to its municipality and mayor for alleged non secular discrimination.

    The church, represented by the Chicago-based legislation agency Mauck & Baker, says the denial of a enterprise license prevented it from renovating the constructing it bought in June 2023 amid rising attendance.
