There have been poignant scenes at St Patrick's Church on Tuesday because the household of a nine-year-old woman killed in a knife assault in Southport gathered to recollect her.
The church was full for a memorial service for Alicia da Silva Aguiar, who was killed together with Bebe King, 6, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, 7, at Taylor Swift's dance class on July 29.
The service was led by Fr John Heneghan and tributes have been learn in English and Portuguese. They prayed for 3 women.
Alice's headteacher at Churchtown Main, Jinnie Payne, described her as “fantastic, caring and assured”.

The 17-year-old was charged with three murders, 10 tried murders and possession of a curved kitchen knife. The suspect has been named as Axel Rudakubana from Banks in Lancashire.
