The database reportedly tracks “over 3,500 violent and nonviolent extremists affiliated with far-right, far-left, Islamist, or single-issue ideologies in the USA protecting the interval 1948-2022.”

College students for Life stated they had been “shocked” to search out the group's title listed within the database.

“Because of tarring and feathering guilt by affiliation, a peaceable, pro-life group is positioned on a listing of some who seem like really dangerous actors, though because of the bias of the supply, some fact-checking could also be so as. Additionally lacking had been teams like Jane's Revenge that threatened violence – together with gun violence AGAINST College students for Lifetime of America — recognized for the phrase, “If abortions aren't SAFE, YOU AREN'T SAFE,” in response to the group's web site.

“Homeland Safety missed it. And did they overlook about Deliberate Parenthood? With regards to “mass casualty” perpetrators, it's laborious to beat Deliberate Parenthood to loss of life on the dimensions of the Soviet Union and the Stalinist authorities.”

Earlier this month, SFLA responded by sending START a cease-and-desist letter demanding that the group be “instantly delisted.”

“Together with the SFLA on this checklist of terrorists and extremists has communicated to the world that the SFLA must be handled as a harmful risk. This unduly stigmatizes the SFLA, which isn’t a terrorist or extremist group,” the authorized letter shared with Fox Information Digital stated.

A START spokesman stated he couldn’t verify prison instances linked to SFLA, however claimed the crimes had been linked to activism, not terrorism.

“The PIRUS database helps us perceive crimes which can be motivated by ideology. Crimes will not be restricted to any political stance or perception, and the database displays actions which can be tracked within the US prison justice system. A variety of people – whose identities haven’t been launched – had been eliminated as a part of a usually scheduled replace on April 8 after up to date court docket info was submitted,” the spokeswoman stated.
