WASHINGTON – US Home Speaker Mike Johnson urged the Biden administration to take stronger motion towards the Chinese language Communist Get together because the ruling authorities's therapy of the predominantly Muslim Uyghur minority group continues to attract accusations of human rights and non secular freedom violations.
Johnson, R-La., addressed a crowd gathered on the annual Worldwide Spiritual Freedom Summit on Wednesday, highlighting his background as a spiritual freedom lawyer and discussing threats to spiritual freedom all over the world.

The act established U.S. coverage to “prohibit the importation of all items, merchandise, articles, or merchandise mined, manufactured, or produced, in complete or partly, by compelled labor from the Folks's Republic of China, and specifically, any such items, merchandise, articles, or merchandise manufactured within the Uyghur Xinjiang Autonomous Area in China.”
