Once you first hear the phrase “the concern of the Lord” it’d make you sit again a bit. Some ideas would possibly pop up in your head like, “Why ought to I concern God? If God is all-loving, why ought to I concern Him? I believed there was no concern in love?”

All of those are nice questions, however we’ve to look deeper into the idea of fearing the Lord to totally perceive. The concern of the Lord is to not be deathly afraid of God. It’s a wholesome concern, or respect, of who God is. Consider the “concern” you could have to your mother and father. Everytime you do one thing you’re not speculated to do, you begin pondering of what your mother and father will say and do. That’s a few of what “the concern of the Lord” is portraying. The concern of the Lord is to have deep respect, reverence and awe for God and who He’s.

This doesn’t imply you may’t have a detailed private relationship with God. He needs to have a detailed private relationship with you. Consider a relationship you could have with a sports activities coach. You need to have a detailed relationship along with your coach, however it’s essential have respect to your coach as properly. So sure, construct a detailed relationship with God, but additionally maintain the respect there that He deserves.

The last word which means of “concern of the Lord” is to not deal with God causally. Once we deal with God too causally, we will overlook all that He’s accomplished, and does, for us. We’d like to ensure we’re giving Him the entire honor and glory as a result of He deserves all of it. Hold God within the place He deserves. Once you try this and have a wholesome concern of the Lord, that’s if you begin to develop in His knowledge.
