Jaccob Slavin is an All-Star defenseman with the Carolina Hurricanes. He was chosen by Carolina within the fourth spherical of the 2012 NHL Draft after a collegiate profession at Colorado School (in Colorado Springs), and made his NHL debut on Nov. 20, 2015.
In 2017, Slavin signed a seven-year contract extension with the Hurricanes, and in 2020 was named to his first All-Star group. One yr later, he received the Woman Byng Memorial Trophy offered annually to the “participant to have exhibited the very best kind of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct mixed with a excessive normal of enjoying means.” In 2024, he received the Woman Byng Memorial Trophy for a second time, and in July he signed a brand new eight-year contract to stay with Carolina till 2033.
