SS PODCAST: Adam LaRoche on combatting human trafficking, partnering with Water Mission

Adam LaRoche performed 12 seasons of Main League Baseball with the Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Crimson Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks, Washington Nationals and Chicago White Sox. He was chosen within the twenty ninth spherical of the 2000 MLB Draft by the Braves and made his MLB debut in April 2004.

Throughout his profession, he accrued 255 residence runs and 1,452 hits. In 2012, he was the Gold Glove and Silver Slugger winner at first base in a season that noticed him hit a career-high 33 residence runs and 100 RBIs.

Since retirement in 2016, LaRoche has been staying busy as a co-owner of Buck Commander with Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Willie Robertson. LaRoche can also be in regulation enforcement, having gone to the police academy to be deputized in Fort Scott, Kansas.

Adam shares tales of his experiences in Ukraine and the Dominican Republic, the place he witnessed the devastating results of trafficking and the significance of entry to scrub water. His religion in Christ fuels his ardour for this work, and he encourages others to get entangled and assist organizations like Water Mission.
