Mike Reed, the Republican Nationwide Committee (RNC) chief of employees, has introduced that he’ll step down on the finish of this month.
In keeping with an electronic mail obtained by Politico, Reed stated he was specializing in his “rising household [that] wants and deserves my consideration.”
“I do know the timing of this information is predicated on plenty of rumors within the press and we’re making ready to attach with the presumptive candidate. I guarantee you the RNC is in an extremely sturdy place,” he wrote.
Sources near the matter stated the transfer has been within the works for a couple of 12 months.
