(CNN) — System 1 workforce Crimson Bull Racing has launched an impartial investigation into workforce principal Christian Horner, with plenty of media retailers reporting that Horner allegedly engaged in inappropriate habits with an unidentified member of Crimson Bull Racing.
“After the corporate turned conscious of sure latest allegations, it has launched an impartial investigation into (Christian Horner),” Crimson Bull Racing stated in an announcement obtained by CNN contributor Phil Duncan, F1 correspondent with the Press Affiliation in London.
“This course of, which is already underway, is being carried out by an exterior specialist lawyer. The Firm takes these issues extraordinarily critically and the investigation might be accomplished as quickly as practicable. It could not be acceptable to remark additional presently,” the assertion stated.
A report from Dutch information outlet De Telegraaf stated on Monday that Horner had been accused of inappropriate habits and that the habits was in direction of a member of Crimson Bull Racing, in accordance with a number of unnamed sources.
The report doesn’t title the workforce member or describe the circumstances.
CNN reached out to Crimson Bull Racing for remark from the workforce together with Horner.
In an announcement to De Telegraaf, the 50-year-old stated: “I fully deny these allegations.”
Horner turned Crimson Bull workforce principal in 2005, making him the youngest in F1. He has led the workforce to many successes since his appointment – overseeing seven Drivers' Championships – and final season the workforce defended their Constructors' Championship crown – the workforce's sixth below Horner – with six races to spare.
