When Luke McCaffrey accomplished his NFL Mix exercise at Rice College on Saturday, he narrowly beat the 40-yard sprint time his older brother Christian posted on the 2017 NFL Mix. Christian posted an official time of 4.48 seconds that 12 months. Luke's official time this Saturday was 4.47 seconds.

Luke had 126 receptions for practically 1,700 yards and 18 scores with the Rice Owls over the previous two seasons. After three seasons at quarterback (two at Nebraska and one at Rice), he transformed to receiver.
A Heisman runner-up from Stanford, Christian was the #8 total choose by the Carolina Panthers within the 2017 NFL Draft. Since being traded to San Francisco, he was an integral a part of the 49ers' run to the NFC Championship and the Tremendous Bowl final NFL season.
The 2024 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25-27 in Detroit, Michigan.
