A gender-critical Christian dance group is looking for an investigation after the senator who upheld their expulsion from the competitors retracted his choice.
The Reward Academy of Dance Barbados was disqualified from the Nationwide Independence Pageant of Artistic Arts (NIFCA) final October for allegedly overstepping “the bounds of excellent style” and “defamatory statements”.
The youngsters, who have been supported by the Christian Authorized Centre, had deliberate to compete within the competitors with a efficiency known as “Communicate Life”, which presents a Christian perspective on gender id and sexual orientation, stating that there are solely two sexes.
Their disqualification was confirmed in November by Senator Gregory Nicholls, who acted as an arbitrator within the dispute with NIFCA.
