BORDEN — Christian Academy gained its fourth sectional title Saturday evening.
The fourth-ranked Warriors outlasted South Central 53-48 within the Class A Borden Sectional remaining.
CAI (22-4) will play No. 1 Barr-Reeve (23-2) within the regional championship recreation in Loogootee subsequent Saturday at 1 p.m. The Vikings outlasted No. 3 Orleans 75-67 in 5 overtimes within the Loogootee Sectional remaining.
The Warriors led 16-12 on the finish of the primary quarter and 24-14 on the break.
The Rebels responded within the third interval, outscoring CAI 12-8 to chop their deficit to 32-26. South Central saved it going within the remaining body to get to at least one finish of the sport.
