Orofino ended its season with a loss to Cole Valley Christian of Meridian within the Idaho Class 2A state play-in recreation Saturday, Feb. 24, in Cascade.
Aiden Olive (16 factors) and Hudson Schneider (10) did many of the scoring for the Maniacs (9-13).
“It's been a curler coaster experience so far as the season goes,” Orofino coach Rocky Barlow instructed the Lewiston Tribune. “There have been highs and lows. Right here in direction of the top, the youngsters performed their finest, which is what you need. (Cole Valley had) a protection we didn't have quite a lot of expertise with and it felt like we didn't get off the bus. We didn't actually begin to play and get our ft below us till the third interval, after which it was too late.”
