    An attack on a church in Burkina Faso has left at least 15 dead

    The assault happened within the village of Essakane in Oudalan province. The world lies near Burkina Faso's border with Mali within the northeast of the nation.

    The BBC reviews that the gunmen carried out the assault throughout a Sunday service on the church.

    Abbot Jean-Pierre Sawadogo stated 12 individuals have been killed immediately and three others died later in hospital.

    In keeping with the report, the gunmen are suspected to be Islamist militants.
