    SNP plans to ban 'conversion therapy' are 'fundamentally illiberal', says senior lawyer

    A senior lawyer has warned of extreme state intervention if the SNP's proposed ban on “conversion practices” in Scotland is given the go-ahead.

    Christian Institute deputy director Simon Calvert mentioned it was “outrageous” that pastors and atypical mums and dads had been going through criminalisation.
