A delegation from the Ghana Soccer Affiliation (GFA) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports activities visited the late Christian Atsu's household residence on Tuesday February 21, 2023 to pay their respects with them.
The delegation was led by Government Council Member Nana Sarfo Oduro and Deputy Secretary Basic Alexander Asante whereas Deputy Minister Evans Bobie (Hon.) and Diana Boateng – Chief Protocol Officer within the Ministry of Youth and Sports activities represented the Sector Minister Mustapha Ussif (Hon. ).
Christian Atsu Twasam, a former FC Porto, Chelsea FC, AFC Bournemouth, Everton and Newcastle United participant, was discovered lifeless within the rubble of the current earthquake that hit components of Turkey and Syria on Monday, February 6, 2023.
The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports activities, Evans Bobie (Hon.) and Nana Sarfo Oduro later signed the condolence ebook.

Christian Atsu made his debut for Ghana on 1 June 2012 and went on to make 65 appearances and rating 9 objectives for the Black Stars in a global profession that spanned seven years.
