QUINCY – The Christian Athletes Social Group's annual Christian Athletes Banquet can be held at 2 p.m. April 16 at Quincy College.
The keynote speaker can be Les Steckel, President of FCA. He can be joined by former Florida Gators basketball participant Patric Younger.
Steckel coached school {and professional} soccer for 27 years. He coached for 5 years with the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans the place he helped cause them to Tremendous Bowl XXXIV. Steckel grew to become president of FCA after taking day off to teach his son's soccer staff. His ebook, One Yard Quick, tells the story of his religion and the way his relationship with God was a part of his teaching profession and life.
Younger is a former Florida Gators basketball participant and Defensive Participant of the Yr. He performed six seasons abroad earlier than becoming a member of ESPN as a studio host for the SEC Community. Younger was paralyzed from the waist down in a automotive accident final June. He’ll share an inspiring message about not letting damage get him down.
