SS PODCAST: Former NFL defensive back Tra Battle shares story of redemption, mental health

Tra Battle is a former NFL defensive again, who frolicked with the San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns. In school, he performed beneath head coach Mark Richt on the College of Georgia. Battle’s signature recreation occurred in 2006, when his Bulldogs beat No. 5-ranked Auburn as Battle had three interceptions, together with a pick-six.

In 2013, he reached all-time low mentally and contemplated ending his life.

Immediately on the podcast, Tra Battle shares his highly effective story of how coach Mark Richt saved him from a darkish second in his life, and the way that have reworked Battle’s perspective on life and religion. He emphasizes the significance of group and listening to God’s voice in his life.
