The Liberal Democrat Social gathering has been reported to the Equality Watch over allegations that Christian members are being handled unfairly.
The grievance to the Equality and Human Rights Fee (EHRC) alleges that David Campanale, a practising Anglican and former BBC journalist, was disqualified by the celebration “on the idea of his Christian religion”. The Telegraph information.
Campanale is to get replaced as the long run candidate for Sutton and Cheam MP following an alleged two-year marketing campaign by native celebration members and LGBT activists. He claims that he didn’t adequately disclose his Christian religion throughout the choice course of, which he denies. The EHRC is being requested to open an investigation into the claims referring to Campanale.
