WHEATFIELD – Kankakee Valley Center College and DeMotte Christian girls and boys groups met in a fierce rivalry in KVMS' first house recreation of the season.
Two KVMS groups overcame the visiting Knights.
For the Kougar junior ladies, Jenna Walker led the way in which, setting one other faculty report within the 400 meters with a time of 1 minute, 2.55 seconds. Savannah Michalski within the 100m hurdles, Sophie Singleton within the 100m and lengthy leap, Walker within the 400m and 800m, Brynn Capellari within the excessive leap, McKinley Dresbaugh within the 300m hurdles, Chloe Walczak within the discus and the 4×400 crew of Gabby Arroyo, Brooklyn Whitt, Laurel Van Meter and Jenna Walker.
Many private bests had been achieved for the boys crew in many various areas. Trenton Poplawski positioned first within the discus, Ian Swart within the excessive leap and 110 hurdles, Ryker Capellari within the 100 and Van Kooistra within the 300 hurdles and distance.
All three relay groups took first place and included runners Eric Samples, Asher Boyer, Noah Knoerzer, Milo Herz, Ian Swart, Van Kooistra, Hunter Brumley, Brady Flick, Ryker Capellari and Parker Harrington.
The pole vaulters took the highest three spots with private bests all together with Braiden Huff in first, Joey Patton in second and Beau Evans in third.
