FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – 9 Northeast Indiana boys basketball groups advance to the regional spherical after a busy evening of sectional championships within the Hoosier State.
In Class 4A, Wayne used a quick begin to clinch back-to-back sectional championships with a 76-66 win at Homestead. In Class 2A, Blackhawk Christian avenged a daily season loss to Bishop Luers with a 58-50 win in Bluffton. The defending 2A state champions earned their seventh straight title with Saturday's win.
