PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers will hold their longtime large receiver for the foreseeable future after signing him to a long-term contract.
Kuntz, an area Pittsburgh product who performed his school ball at Duquesne, has signed a three-year contract with the Steelers, in line with a report by Chris Halicke of DK Pittsburgh Sports activities. Monetary phrases haven’t but been disclosed.
He started his profession as an undrafted free agent with the New England Patriots in 2017, and it was one of many few multi-year contracts he signed as an expert soccer participant. He then joined the Broncos on a one-year deal and signed with the Steelers for 2 years and $1.08 million after leaving Denver.
Kuntz has since signed one-year offers with the Steelers, and regardless of the franchise not providing him throughout his restricted free company interval, he re-signed with Pittsburgh this week.
He appeared in 51 video games for the Steelers, the one common season NFL motion of his profession.
