Horner has been the topic of an impartial investigation for a number of weeks after allegations of misconduct have been made towards him. Horner, 50, is probably probably the most well-known crew principal in F1 because of Crimson Bull's success on the monitor and his prominence within the Netflix documentary sequence “Drive to Survive.”

Specifics concerning the allegations towards Horner have been laborious to come back by. Dutch web site De Telegraaf reported on Friday that it had seen WhatsApp messages between Horner and a Crimson Bull worker.

In an announcement on Sunday, F1 stated it hoped the investigation can be closed quickly. Horner denied the allegations towards him.

“We be aware that Crimson Bull has initiated an impartial investigation into inside allegations at Crimson Bull Racing,” F1 stated in an announcement. “We hope that the matter will likely be resolved on the earliest alternative following a good and thorough course of and we won’t be commenting additional at the moment.”

Horner has been answerable for Crimson Bull since 2005. Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen have gained seven titles at Crimson Bull beneath his watch, and Verstappen enters the 2024 season with a fourth consecutive championship.

Horner attended the launch of Crimson Bull's automotive for the 2024 season and stated on Thursday that it was “enterprise as normal” at Crimson Bull.

“Clearly, there's a course of occurring at this level,” Horner stated Thursday, by way of the Related Press. “Some allegations have been made that I absolutely deny and I agree, in fact, with the method and can proceed to take action. I feel it was very clear and Crimson Bull's perspective was that it was enterprise as normal. Clearly there may be work to be completed and I absolutely deny the allegations made. After all, my function continues.”

It's affordable to imagine that each F1 and Crimson Bull would love the investigation to be over by the beginning of the season, though the longer it takes, the much less seemingly that could be.
