SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — The San Francisco 49ers have rewarded All-Professional operating again Christian McCaffrey with a contract extension after he received the AP Offensive Participant of the Yr award in his first full season with the staff.
An individual accustomed to the deal stated it’s price $19 million yearly over two years. The individual spoke to The Related Press on situation of anonymity on Tuesday as a result of the staff has not introduced the deal. Professional Soccer Speak first introduced the brand new deal.
McCaffrey was available Tuesday for the beginning of obligatory minicamp in San Francisco after lacking voluntary practices the earlier two weeks.
McCaffrey has helped remodel San Francisco's offense since being acquired in a midseason 2022 commerce from Carolina.
In 27 video games with the Niners, McCaffrey rushed for two,205 yards and 20 touchdowns and caught 119 passes for 1,028 yards and 11 scores.
He led the NFL with 2,023 yards from scrimmage final season and was tied for the league lead with 21 touchdowns.
McCaffrey, who turns 28 on Friday, will now be underneath contract by way of the 2027 season.
